About The NYC Karatedō International Championship

The NYC Karatedo International Championship is an annual traditional karate tournament that celebrates the four fundamental pillars of karate:

kata (forms)
kumite (sparring)
kihon (fundamental techniques)
karatedõ (philosophy, concepts, and thought)

One of the few traditional karate tournaments held every year, the 2025 edition of the NYC Karatedō International Championship Tournament will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2025 and Sunday, November 9th, 2025 in Midtown Manhattan.

Competitor information, including rules and schedules, will be released in the late spring 2025, with competitor registration and spectator ticket sales commencing in June 2025.
